Job Description

As a Network Engineer, you will design, build and run cost effective and highly available/performing IT solutions for on-premise and cloud networks. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the LAN, WAN and Wireless components of the network. This position requires someone to come on-site 3-4 days a week at our Phoenix, Arizona offices. Responsibilities: Cisco LAN/WAN switching and routing design/build/run. Cisco Wireless networking design/build/run Palo Alto Firewall, Global Protect administration. Identify and implement efficiency and automation enhancements Secure network resources On-site/remote work as needed Manage work through SCRUM New construction network design and build Cloud networking management and administration Required Qualifications: 6 years of relevant and recent experience in network wired/wireless design/build/run Thorough knowledge of the OSI Model. Palo Alto Firewall, and Global Protect management and support Experience successfully utilizing Agile/SCRUM practices Robust experience with Cisco Core/distribution/access models and the Nexus platform. VMWare NSX management and support Working knowledge of load balancer solutions Working knowledge of server-side systems and the VMWare platform. Strong skills utilizing the Cisco CLI. Ability to leverage automated and scripted network management tools. Ability to leverage multiple WAN solution types.
