As they open a state-of-the-art operations hub in the Phoenix metro area, they are seeking a skilled and strategic Manager of Service Delivery to take charge of service execution and continuous improvement initiatives across their HVAC systems portfolio.

The Role

In this high-impact position, you will drive the deployment and optimization of the company’s service operating framework for large-scale HVAC solutions. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you’ll manage internal teams, service systems, vendor relationships, and technical support processes to ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction and field performance.

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to build out scalable, responsive service delivery infrastructure while championing safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Strategy: Oversee the evaluation, design, and refinement of the service delivery model, aligning service operations with the broader business mission and customer expectations.
  • Program Implementation: Lead the rollout of systems and processes supporting service intake, warranty management, claims resolution, and service parts fulfillment.
  • Team Leadership & Performance: Build and manage a team of service professionals. Establish KPIs, coach for performance, and cultivate a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Customer Success: Act as a key liaison with customers to resolve escalations, ensure proactive support, and identify areas for service improvement.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination: Identify and manage third-party service partners to support scaling efforts and meet geographical response expectations.
  • Technology & Tools: Define system requirements and optimize service platforms to track work orders, tech expenses, and overall service efficiency.
  • Budget & Forecasting: Create and manage the annual service budget with a focus on cost-effective operations, quality, and innovation.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to OSHA and other applicable industry regulations, driving a culture of safety-first operations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in HVAC service management, technical support, or related roles within the manufacturing or building systems industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in implementing service systems, team leadership, and strategic service planning.
  • Skilled in overseeing customer relationship platforms, financial planning, and service infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal teams, customers, and external vendors.
  • Ambitious and outcome-focused, with a drive to innovate and optimize processes.
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed.
