Aerotek Is Hiring Industrial Painters – $50K–$55K/year

Location: McConnellsburg, PA | 2nd & 3rd Shift Availability

Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedIndustrial Painterto join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for priming, painting, and finishing vehicles and heavy equipment using advanced tools and techniques. This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, safety-focused environment with room for growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prime, paint, and touch up vehicles using power spray equipment and brushes.
• Mask, unmask, and adjust masking to meet specifications.
• Wash and condition parts; perform light bodywork as needed.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble painting equipment.
• Flush tanks, hoses, and guns before color changes.
• Mix paints to precise formulas, ensuring proper viscosity and consistency.
• Perform titrations and adjust chemicals as needed.
• Apply decals, stencils, and rust-proofing.
• Inspect products before, during, and after painting to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform preventative maintenance.
• Transport and guide parts and assemblies through the painting process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of painting experience in automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment environments.
• Strong mathematical skills and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in a similar setting.

• Competitive pay: $ 50,000–$55,000 per year
• $1,500 sign-on bonus paid out over your first year (at 3, 6, and 12 months)

Work Environment

• Work inside paint booths in a hot environment with strong paint odors
• Full paint suit and respirator required (no facial hair for proper fit)
• Dress code: jeans, steel-toe boots, and a clean work shirt
• Minimal overtime currently, with expected increase to 40–45 hours/week

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47320.00 - $54912.00/yr.

Sign On Bonus: Eligible for full time employees (Contractors would be eligible upon conversion)
$1,500 Total
$500 @ 3 months of employment
$500 @ 6 months of employment
$500 @ 12 months of employment
